I’ve been wanting to really explore the studio world with photography so a couple of weeks ago, I rented a studio with indoor professional lighting and had the most amazing time practicing. I was lucky to already have beautiful girlfriends who wanted to take part of the adventure so for two hours, I practiced with two soft lights, different backdrops, and a whole different concept that I’m used.
The set up was simple and the lighting came out incredible! I’ve always been hungry for indoor photography, studio and magazine style photography so I really challenged myself to branch out. I researched the space, booked the spot, and worked with new equipment. I used a fairly large Octagon soft box and a beauty dish – two pieces of equipment that really gave me the editorial look.
I’m currently working on content so I can start working on a website. I’ve spent so many years just figuring it out and enjoying the art of photography. I’m so lucky to have had the opportunity to practice getting to the next level. Today, I’m posting my first indoor studio session. I explored with different editing styles so there will be a mix of styles – I like them all! The models are Kara and Shayda. A special thank you to the both of them <3
