Oh, how much I love this shoot! Everything about it came out perfectly beautiful! Leo and Soraya found me on The knot for their wedding and as all my packages come with a free engagement session, we made sure to get the best out of the opportunity. What I love about the engagement sessions is that not only does it allow me to get to know the couple on a personal, behind the lens kind of level but it also allows my couples to get a good feel of who I am as a photographer and how I work; putting that final seal before the wedding. It also breaks the ice and makes the comfort level so easy to work with especially on the wedding day!
Leo and Soraya came to me with the idea of having their engagements on a rooftop with a city feel and I have to say, mission accomplished. Not only did the photos really reflect what they wanted but we had such a blast that before we knew it, 2 hours had gone by! We talked about how they met, how Leo knew she was the one, and how Soraya was easily swayed when Leo wiggled himself into her life. Both played soccer for the University of Montana and Soraya was Leo’s academic advisor making sure he was succeeding in his school. He was, and not to mention his love life was about too as well! Let’s just say that he made his shot and he scored!
