Muhlestein Wedding, Brandon + Megan.

I couldn’t have walked around the Temple feeling more welcomed. Every time walking on the grounds, it felt like an act of grace. At the portrait session, Brandon and Megan were congratulated among those walking out while we continued corner to corner taking portraits filled with sweet innocence. Let’s not forget, welcomed by the sunset.

At the ceremony, on a Friday, ‘we’ sat at the lobby. Among the siblings, waiting for B + M to gradually step out. Erin and Mark, Brandon’s parents, were the firsts to walk out of the doors and I signaled I was here. Erin and Mark live next door to my parents. That’s how we met, actually. When it came time for the couple to finally exit, I navigated everyone under a beautiful outdoor corridor, which naturally also meant for some awesome pictures … I felt lucky to be there.

Afterwards, the day followed with a family reception at The Halbert’s Family home. Rumor has it, he built his backyard so all his children could get married there. I won’t deny later that night I got a sugar high, by allowing myself a refill at the soda bar and a return at the cookie station. Whether it was the feeling of being invisible or being part of the family, it felt very cool.
